Sponsor unable to attend interview

I understand that there is absolutely no requirement for me to attend the interview in Bangkok with my fiancee...yet every review of th Bangkok Embassy, with almost no exception, the sponsor and immigrant went to the interview together.

Will this hurt our case in any way? There's absolutely no way for me to attend the interview with her. I was in Thailand with her most recently for three weeks in February and two weeks in August. We have a pretty good amount of photos and documentation to prove this. All of our paperwork is in order concerning police reports, medical exams, support, etc.

Is there anyone here who has experience with the immigrant going to the Bangkok Embassy without the sponsor? If there is please share your story with me, I'm worried that we're at an automatic handicap because of the fact that she'll attend the interview alone.

I have been there twice for interviews. Both times saw applicants with and without their SO. As long as your paperwork is in order, Tik should not have any problems. During the days I was there, applicants without their SO got approved. Also saw applicants with their SO get sent away to collect more documentation. Just make sure all forms and documents are in order.
