Hello VJers,

Congrats to all who have gone the route of the I-129F and enjoying matrimonial bliss!!

We came home from our wedding day and after some RR hustled to complete the next stage of I-forms for our AOS, EAD, and AP submission and get them into the mail to the Chicago lockbox address.

Now, however, I'm seeing that other filers have been sending their forms to their local CIS office? Is this correct??

We haven't received the NOA yet, nor a return receipt for our priority USPS package. My check hasn't cleared either.

Is anyone else in the same predicament??

I just reviewed the mailing instructions for the I-485 form and it says that the Chicago address is correct for all K1 visa holders.

Can anyone shed some light??

Many thanks,

Lost Pup

If somebody is filing AOS with their local office, that's an error? An exception might be those who can do DORA near Dallas. I'm not up on that particular procedure.

Any interview will be at a local office.
