We just received the approval notice of the K1 petition and it stated to read the directions but there werent really any on the approval. Does my fiance wait for the packet of info to arrive from the Embassy or should she call them to start this process?

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Wait for packet 3 to arrive. Usually it'll be about one month before the embassy receives your approved petition from NVC. Some embassy allows you to pick up packet 3 on site. Some don't. Give it a try. It's faster if it's picked up because you don't have to wait for the mail-man to sort the mail. Personally, I flew out to the embassy just to pick up packet 3 myself (USC). And, instead of just staying there for a month, I stayed there for 6 months. ROFLMAO!!

Your fiance should be receiving instructions from the consulate soon (either by mail, e-mail or a letter to come pick it up). You don't have to do anything

If you want to get a jump on filling out the packet 3 materials, check your embassy's website to find out what they require. Darren and I sent out the packet 3 2 days after it arrived from the embassy because we had most of the forms filled out already...

WOW CONGRATS!! WTG!! You can wait and you can call to check status........Do it all.......Mine arrived at the embassy only 1 week later and packet 3 was emailed to us. Maybe yours too......Depends on the embassy. GOOD LUCK!!
