just_waiting, I totally feel your co-sponsor woes!!!!

I'm currently on hold with the misinformation line hoping they'll tell me what our RFE was for, since it was issued 2 weeks ago and still no sign of the letter. I know they won't tell me anything, but I promised Majid I'd call anyway.

I've already been on hold for a half hour :P

Sending the Happy News Fairy your way..................................*

Scream... Well, my apartment is still not finished. My move in date has been pushed back yet another week. This is making me nuts. Since the Embassy had requested a copy of my lease, this is making me very nervous. I advised them that it is new construction and move in has been delayed, but I can't help but have sweaty palms over this kicking up some trouble. What do you guys think? THE NERVES ARE KILLING ME!

JW, they already have your lease, though, don't they? For all they know you're already living there. I wouldn't worry about it!!!

They sure are taking their sweet time looking over that stupid piece of paper :(

So after being on hold for 45 minutes on the misinformation line, it turns out they can't send a new copy of the RFE letter without my husband's permission. He of course isn't here. I'm getting up early tomorrow morning to call, so hopefully the hold won't be as long.

Now I'm on hold to get 2005 tax transcripts for my cosponsor, because I think that's what the RFE is for. I hope they'll let me order them for someone else.

The IRS has better hold music than USCIS. Interesting.

We should conduct a new poll... "Who has better hold music?"

I'm sure feeling your pain. They already started my stupid phone service, so I'm being billed for a phone I don't even have yet and get to go through back-tracking for credit and all that yuck. Ain't life just a bowl of cherries???

I'm sure you'll get through this. Today is MONDAY after all, and it is just about over. Yippee!!

Argh, I can't order them for someone else. I had all the information, so I guess I could have lied, but I don't have the stomach for it!

That's what you get for being a doctor instead of a secretary! You wouldn't believe the things I've had to do for bosses. I'm so glad I'm not an admin any more. The worst I had to do was sign my boss's signature on a background check that was going to a state bureau of investigation. He was out of town and it had to be submitted within 48 hours of the guy applying for a job. That one made me pretty nervous. I never intended to forge signatures, but I'm sure those on here who do admin work can tell you that all you were doing today was playing secretary, so honestly it would not have been that bad.
