Length of time between Bio appt. and interview notice

Hello again....hope I'm not posting TOO much...

We just had our bio appt. and we're wondering what the typical length of time between the bio and receiving the interview notice. I've seen the timelines for my city on this site. It says 74 days from Bio to interview. Again, I'm wonder how long until we find out the interview date.

That is the million dollar question. If any of us knew the answer to that our fortunes would be made! The timelines on VJ provide you with a useful reference point, however there are always people who go faster and slower than the average. The only sure way to find out when you have the interview date is when you receive the interview notification. It may turn out that you don't receive an interview at all - lots of AOS' applications are being approved without an interview these days. If you receive notification that your AOS has been transferred to California that is almost a guarantee that you won't have an interview.

Yep it is different for all. Hubby's biometric was done on July 18, and on July 30 they sent us the interview letter (arrived about a week later). We didn't receive any email notification of that, just the snail mail letter. However if the case is transferred to CSC (meaning as Kathryn41 said, usually approved without interview), there will be an email notification about it immediately.

They dont email the notice, only snail mail.
