I think $200k is far too cheap for that humiliation of having to wash some man's sperm out of hair. Much less having a plane load of people know about it.

Really???

I guess since I went to law school and have read a lot of retardo cases of people getting bank dollar for stupider $hit than this - to me this should be heading to the 7 figure category. Given my limited knowledge of tort law in the States this is only my thoughts: I am assuming that the actual deed of splooging in the hair occurred over California (the story seems to allude to that fact). Seeing some dumb things in the news about suing in California, I am thinking that they would want to sue there, since damages paid seem to be astronomically high. I am not sure if aviation rules affect where a lawsuit may be filed. Not sure if it is where the company is registered, where the action/splooging occurred, where the flight originated from, or where the flight started from. If I was the lawyer, I would hope for California.

I understand that she probably hasn't suffered physical damage (other than potential exposure to HIV, STD . . . ), but this isn't a broken leg that heals. She has some guys ####### in her hair in public, in other words she was sexually assaulted and no one helped her. That's some serious trauma! Furthermore, I am sure that the lawyer is accentuating AA's liability in this, since they have large insurance coverage. Presumably, if only an action again the perv, he likely has few assets to sue over.

Honestly, the only thing that shocked me more than someone actually doing this, was the fact that she was only asking for $200,000. Maybe I am wrong. But I think I'd be asking for more. Not sure if there is case law that deals with being splooged on in public. There probably is somewhere. . . . .and perhaps $200k is the going rate for this type of action. I just think it seems low.

Anyone else's thoughts?

Interesting! I'm thinking, the sexual abuse comes from a person (the dna exam could proove that); second, the airline company was not sensitive about what happened...that's indeed an added trauma...so maybe 2 lawsuits should have been done...

What are you going to do with his wiener once you cut it off?

Wow!! cut like in revenge??..i'm not into that...the case is about exposing genitals and acting upon another person...what's the legal term? In addition, the lady was stuck in the chair, she had no choice but to stay sitted...so the guy took advantage of the situation...he is a pervert that,s for sure...sign of depression!!!...

A 21-year-old Harris County woman filed a $200,000 lawsuit against American Airlines alleging employees on a flight to Los Angeles from Dallas/Fort Worth Airport failed to protect her while she slept from another passenger who masturbated to her and ejaculated in her hair, according to a lawsuit she filed last week in Tarrant County.

...

Destined for a Spring Break visit with family and friends March 19, the woman flew from Houston to DFW Airport and had settled into her seat for the last leg of flight 2074 to Los Angeles about 11 p.m., the suit states. The woman slept most of the flight, but awoke about 20 minutes before landing when the pilot announced the plane was on decent into Los Angeles. When the woman opened her eyes, she saw that an unknown man had moved into the seat next to her and was staring at her as he masturbated, the suit states.

The woman turned toward the window in embarrassment and in an act of nervousness began to run her fingers through her hair where she noticed “a substantial amount of an extremely sticky substance in her hair,” the suit states.

The woman began to cry and tried to get the attention of a flight attendant, but was unsuccessful, the suit states. Finally a passenger in the row in front of the woman comforted her and verified the semen in her hair, the suit states.

When the plane landed, employee called airport police and the man was arrested.

Sick sick sick. I would've got up rammed my boot stiletto in his face and then spat on him, then I would have called the steward. Yes I would go to jail for assault, that is not only on record but screwed in your mind for life, at least I would rest knowing I used my jujitsu techniques.

Yes. I think that anyone who said this was funny or hilarious is an idiot. How would they like it if it happened to them?

The husband wrote this, so any responses may be made to him and not the wife. Thanks in advance.

It was a night flight maybe that is why no one noticed what he was doing. The lights were off.

But that is still gross. If it was me I would have certainly lived up to my name - Warrior Princess. They would have had to use the jaws of life to extract him from his seat.

Life is so strange but it sure keeps you on your toes!!!
