I"m trying to get a visual here. If he's sitting down and she's sitting down facing the other way.............and if the guy in the Target aisle is standing and the woman is standing.................

I'm not a guy so help me out..........what's the farthest this stuff can fly?

And how did this other passenger "verify" that it was semen??? Did he/she taste it or did this person happen to have a CSI kit handy?

I think $200k is far too cheap for that humiliation of having to wash some man's sperm out of hair. Much less having a plane load of people know about it.

Really???

I guess since I went to law school and have read a lot of retardo cases of people getting bank dollar for stupider $hit than this - to me this should be heading to the 7 figure category. Given my limited knowledge of tort law in the States this is only my thoughts: I am assuming that the actual deed of splooging in the hair occurred over California (the story seems to allude to that fact). Seeing some dumb things in the news about suing in California, I am thinking that they would want to sue there, since damages paid seem to be astronomically high. I am not sure if aviation rules affect where a lawsuit may be filed. Not sure if it is where the company is registered, where the action/splooging occurred, where the flight originated from, or where the flight started from. If I was the lawyer, I would hope for California.

I understand that she probably hasn't suffered physical damage (other than potential exposure to HIV, STD . . . ), but this isn't a broken leg that heals. She has some guys ####### in her hair in public, in other words she was sexually assaulted and no one helped her. That's some serious trauma! Furthermore, I am sure that the lawyer is accentuating AA's liability in this, since they have large insurance coverage. Presumably, if only an action again the perv, he likely has few assets to sue over.

Honestly, the only thing that shocked me more than someone actually doing this, was the fact that she was only asking for $200,000. Maybe I am wrong. But I think I'd be asking for more. Not sure if there is case law that deals with being splooged on in public. There probably is somewhere. . . . .and perhaps $200k is the going rate for this type of action. I just think it seems low.

Anyone else's thoughts?

Not that I see this man's act as anything decent or humorous, but I don't think the woman in this case should receive an excessively large sum of money, simply because others before her have successfully extorted funds through the legal system. If it's okay to do something because others have done the same (or similar) things and gotten away with it, where does it end?

The amount of $200,000 is far too much and her attorney knows this too. The very reason she and her lawyer are asking this amount is because it's highly likely the judge will lower the total awarded, so the higher they start, the higher the end product will probably be when the judge deceases it.

Yes, this is traumatic and it's very wrong and sick, but she hasn't been crippled, burned, blinded, raped, or made terminally ill. She will live and she will get over this. In five to ten years, this will be little more than a distant -- yet utterly disgusting -- memory in a life that is hopefully filled with far more interesting and worthwhile thoughts. As for the rest of us, I can virtually guarantee that we'll forget about this event within the timespan of several months or so, only to be reminded about it briefly during those VH1 "I Love The Decade" shows where has-beens, never-beens and those who tried-to-be talk about their so-called "heydey" and discuss incredibly obscure information, most of which people would have remembered had it meant anything to them in the first place.

hmmm.. i think the high end girls in new york only charge $4300 for that..

I'd give her $50k, tops. A lot of women would accept a cum load for a lot less.

just wrong...but witty

I was seriously grossed out for this woman, even though some of the details seem to be missing here. Sumptins just not right. But then you guys did the thread in and I'm cracking up over here... :jest:

Not sure if there is case law that deals with being splooged on in public.

But seriously- man goo in the hair is not cool.

And how did this other passenger "verify" that it was semen??? Did he/she taste it or did this person happen to have a CSI kit handy?
