Hi VJ members. I need all of your help. I would really appreciate if you help me. I have a question about my I-130 that I filed for my wife who lives in India, and I live in US. I am a US citizen. We got married on Oct. 22, 2007, and filed I-130 on November 14th, and received at VSC, on November 16th. I received my NOA1 on January 24th 2008. So, my question is what month does my filing consider? is it November, the month I sent my I-130 or January, the month they received it? I am very tensed. someone please help me.....

As far as I know, it is the date that they received your petition in the mailroom. So, it should be Nov 16th. I got my NOA1 four months after filing, but my priority date was when they received it.
