Stupid question, but.... Is this what all the fuss is about? My googling comes up with a variety of different products and sizes, but this seems most common.. Is this (product in the link) what people recommend because "that's what USCIS uses"?

IDK if USCIS uses them but they are a helluva lot easier to separate than sh!t stapled together; And yes those are ACCO fasteners.

Yep they are the one and only, but my preference has always been PAPER CLIPS.

Never staple. :bonk:

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

About two years ago, I recall a long debate about acco fasteners and whether using them would speed up your processing. Well, the consensus was they made no appreciable difference from those that used paper clips.

Paper clips work great.

Ha! I always wondered what the heck people were talking about. Now I know.

I stapled things because I was too worried that important things would be separated and someone wouldn't have the good sense to know they went together. I've started to blank out on early details of our immigration saga...but I think I submitted our K1 in a 1.5 inch 3 ring binder with dividers.

Paper clips work great.

i used binder clips to hold each section together and then a monster one to hold the entire thing together
