Reschedule of interview date

Dear all,

Can you pl tell me the procedure of Rescheduling IV visa date(I want to shift date to later date).

Is it advisible to rescedule date..?after how many days we are getting date..?

My case is with New Delhi(India)

This i want to do is because i may get date in Apri.And i hv been married for 1yr and 9 month.so if i complete 2yr then i will be eligible for IR1(10yr green card);Am I right....?

well it would be more advisable to talk to consulor about the closeness of the 2 yr date it could be a min of 2 month to get new date but could take as long as 6 month i have read you could try to post this in your regional forum they might have better advise good luck
