tammy, don't delude yourself. Find a friend or priest or someone who knows you and you can trust to be honest and share your concerns with them. It can be very easily to rationalize away what you suspect to be true because it's a pretty awful truth, and it's harder to do that if your friends are there to be a second set of eyes.

I was just about to add a reply thanking everyone for not bashing each others thoughts and ideas...we are all individuals and we each handle our lives and situations differently. Some of us 'test', some of us dont'...but i think each poster is merely trying to give friendly advice to Tammy and offer her some options for solutions. It is up to Tammy which advice she decides to take.

I feel for you Tammy, and I can't tell you with or without the list of red flags that there isn't a part of me that wonders, that is afraid of being left heart broken...but this isn't just because of him being from another country...it is ALL men...With all men, all people, they have the ability to USE, to LIE, to CHEAT, to DEFY...So we need to always be weary of this, but at the same time I believe if you love and you give your 100% and have no regrets then God will only bring you good things and something good will come from every experience. Whether it is a lesson to be learned, or a life changing experience...Tammy you take care of yourself and you do what YOU know is right and feel is right in your heart and you will be the bigger person and come out on top.
