Still waiting for Packet 3 but .....

Hello all,

Our petition was mistakenly sent to Montreal rather than Vancouver (It has been over 3 weeks now). We called the NVC and they acknowledged that they sent it to the wrong place. When I call them they don't have a clue of the status of our petition. So it is probably sitting in Montreal on someones desk waiting to be sent to Vancouver or something.

Anyways here is our dilema, since we don't have packet 3 yet we don't know what exactly is in it and my fiancee is coming up to Canada to visit in 2 weeks and we would like for her to get all of the info complete so she can bring it up with her. I read that people are saying that we need the following for the I-134:

1) Completed I-134 form (She makes enough so we don't need a co-sponsor)

2) 2 or 3 Pay Stubs

3) Letter from Employer

4) Letter from Bank (why is this required as she doesn't have any significant savings in the bank?)

5) 3 years of tax returns (Is this only required if she was self employed or for everyone ?)

When I read the I-134 I can't seem to see where it calls for any of this except for the tax return if your self employed. Could someone direct me in the proper direction on what exactly these letters need to say and what is required.

She should also bring the following with her:

1) Originals of things we sent in with the I-129F

2) Copy of the NOA2

3) A new Letter of Intent

4) I-124 with the required documentation

Anything else that I am forgetting about ?

Thank you

also needed (for beneficiary) are police report, evidence of on-going relationship (for both of you), the I-134 from the petitioner needs to be notarized, letter from bank has to show; current amount, date opened, and yearly deposists (so, total for year into that account); also any other accounts held like stocks and bonds and any other assets.

Tax returns (W2) pretty sure thats not required unless self-employed - we havent got that one as my SO is employed.

Originals of bcert and any previous marriage certs/divorce from both of you.

Great,

Sounds like all of the info that we needed to know. I (the benificiary) already got the police check done a few weeks ago.

I already have the name of the only doctor in Vancouver but I haven't made the appointment as we don't know when we will be getting packet 3.

Thank you for the response.
