If you filed an I-129F and it was approved, USCIS will hold the I-130 for your future adjustment of status from K-3

SEE: http://www.uscis.gov/files/pressrelease/PN_i-129f.pdf

A discussion of this came up yesterday.

If only the I-130 was approved then, you'll want to see the step by step guide for the CR1 visa. If both petitions were approved, see the step by step guide for the K3 visa. In either event, next stop is NVC.

Nobody is sneaking in codes. This is a self help site with an immigration dictionary and step by step guides. You would be wise to use them along with the forums to learn the process as you go through it. NVC, is the National Visa Center but that information will do you little good without reading the appropriate guide.

Nobody can tell you how long the process will take but you can use the timelines here as examples. You're looking at a few months minimum before an interview but you're going to have some work to do during that time. Check the guides first and then come back with any specific questions.

NVC is an acronym and the world is full of them. There is a link at the top center of this webpage for Visa FAQ. At the bottom of the Visa FAQ page is a link to Definitions and Acronyms. You will find this information very useful until you learn the acronyms.
