Dumb one but in question 14 are they lloking for the maiden name for my female spouse (the US citizen) rather than the her name on her passport (from a previous marriage)?

Hey Ed,

That is not a dumb question---no question is a "dumb" one Ok?

I looked at the DS-230; it says "Maiden or Family" name. So u can either put her maiden name(the one she was given at birth) OR the name she took from YOU that's on the marriage certificate.
