Hi Everyone - My fiance studied in Northern Cyprus for 2 years and I'm wondering if he'll need to obtain police clearance records from Cyprus. If so, does anyone know how to go about doing so?

Thanks!

You need to obtain police certificates from every country the beneficiary has lived in for at least 6 months since they were 16.

Police Records

AVAILABLE. A "Certificate of Good Character" is a certificate that serves whether or not any criminal conviction is held against an individual.

To obtain a "CERTIFICATE OF GOOD CHARACTER" the Cypriot citizen who is physically present in Cyprus must personally apply at the Police Headquarters, CRO (CRIMINAL RECORDS OFFICE), Athalassa, Nicosia, or at any major police station.

-Cypriot citizens residing abroad can apply through the nearest Cypriot embassy/consulate.

-Non-Cypriot citizens who resides in Cyprus in the past can obtain a "Certificate of Good Character" through the nearest Cypriot embassy/consulate.
