Congratulations on the interview and what a wondwerful write up. I am happy to hear they let your sis-in-law into the Embassy to assist you.

When we went to get the Affidavit of Legal Capacity to Marry the gaurds moved me to the front of the line when Meryll told them about my legs. But they would not let anyone in to assist her during her interview.

Yes I was thankful that the embassy staff were considerate enough to let my companion go inside with me. I called up the embassy a month before my interview & asked if they have express line for PWDs and the lady I talked to confirmed it. Well I was glad I was treated nicely and what I was told was true.

Thanks to all who shared in my joy & to all fellow members of this forum whose inputs are very valuable & helpful to this journey. I'm looking forward to receiving my visa soon & flying out to the US to be with my love! God bless everyone!

Wow! Even myself is impressed how organized and neat were your papers. Did you submit that 1 whole black plastic envelop? And how many emails do we have to print out? Im a bit worried because me and my fiance' doesnt email much to each other. And my only proof for engagement is my ring...we didnt organize a party or anything so no picture for that. For the chatlogs... I dont want anybody to read our private talks...shameful ! But anyway, congratulations and you did a good job in preparing your stuffs.

Thank you very much! :) No, I did not submit the black expandable envelope with tabs to the pre-screener. It won't go thru the window opening. I only used it to hold the relevant papers requested from me during the pre-screening. I printed out 1 day of chat every month beginning the time me and my fiance started talking but I was not even asked for it. Just print out few pages of your chat in case you will be asked by the interviewer. As for proofs of engagement, I did not have an engagement party either and I don't have an engagement ring. However, I had photos of the promise rings that Nik & I gave each other & other proofs that I posted here. I had plenty of proofs of our relationship I brought with me but they only asked for few. However, I suggest you gather as much evidence as you can & be prepared. Goodluck to you & to everyone who already have their interview schedule!

The original documents I presented were the appointment letter, my DS Forms, NSO-issued birth certificate & CENOMAR, NBI clearance, my petitioner's notarized I-134 & his 2007 ITR. As for proofs of relationship, I also presented original copies of letters, cards, emails, receipts, etc. I have photocopies of some documents like my fiance's IDs & passport but these were not asked.
