HI THERE..GUYS ARE YOU AWARE OR JUST DONT CARE OF WHAT HAPPENING IN OUR COUNTRY...AT FIRST I DONT CARE....BUT IM SICK AND TIRED OF NEWS ABOUT OUR GOVERMENT,,,ABOUT STEPPING DOWN OF PRES.ARROYO BEACAUSE SHES CORRUPT.....DO YOU BELIEVED IN THE TESTIMONY OF JUN LOZADA?THEY SAID PHILLIPINES IS ONE OF THE CORRUPT COUNTRY....YOU KNOW ITS REALLY AFFECTS ALL ,THE DOLLAR RATE IS SO LOW NOW,,,,THE PRIZES OF ALL GOODS AND PRODUCT ARE GOIN UP AND UP...THE BILLS,ESP.GASOLINE(coz i have car ,thats why i dont drive that much now...YES WERE STILL LUCKY,,BUT HOW ABOUT THE OTHER PEOPLE HERE...sometimes i dont want to watch the news it made me sick...bunch of lies,,,HOPEFULLY THRUTH WILL COME UP...IM PRAYING,,,,,

You should be glad that the peso is going strong against the dollar,that only shows that there's still hope in our economy(but with the corrupt people from the gov't,i doubt),and if you're reading the news,dont just read about jun lozada,because politicians are just having a good ride with it,remember,2010 election is not that far.regarding oil price hike,it's not only here in the Philippines that is suffering from it,it's around the world.

and most of the time,media's exaggerating the news that makes foreign countries scared of investing and visiting the country.

yes Philippine economy is not good... the fact that my husband is in USA and we just got married last Feb 14 2008. Wish we could spend more time but since the US Embassy is strict... gosh.. it makes me feel hopeless at times..

makes me sick too, i see those people in mendiola rallying in most cases as i visit st. jude shrine often....even the mass goers are not exempted from the scrutiny of the guards. i hate those traffics too when it happens....

Corruption is all over the world. If you compare our situation to most African countries , or in other Asian countries like Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran etc. . you will be saying thank God that you are in the Philippines, especially for a woman. The system has been a part of our culture way way back and to be very honest, I believe it will stay that way. What Jun Lozada is ranting about does not define who we are. I still believe in the goodness of the Filipino people. . . yes, we have a corrupt government, but its not only our country who is afflicted by this old disease, its everywhere. So just hang in there and pray for the Philippines. Hopefully our people will be "intelligent" enough to vote for the right people, not because they are actors or actresses , or sons and daughters of politicians, but because they know how to lead. No matter what , Philippines is still a beautiful country. Mabuhay po tayo!

well phil is bad right now even then... the thing is those people whose on the street might be fighting what is just, yet the people behind it is a corrupt also. they corrupting the mind of the people. they want the power that's why they want the pres. to step down! as if they can make a different that way. no they wont. its the system that has to be change not the person itself. why wont they stop fighting each other and start helping the country itself rather than blaming and letting these people be on the street. right freedom of speech, but c'mon dont use this common people who sincerely believe something will change. just another erap situation. the next president would be the same. after arroyo, for sure they want the next pres to step down... hunger for power...

i do love my country and i am proud to be one. more proud that i am here in the states for i have to defend and explain and even show how beautiful is our country...

economy sucks here in the US too thats why the dollar drops down in phil... which is good for phil btw but not for the families who work in the US/abroad
