Having a Debate about US citizens / Permanent Residents Affidavit.....please help.

We are here having a debate and I want you guys to shed some light on the situation. We a gathering information for the K3 and plan to submit Affidavit as proof of our relationship and marriage. now this is the debate.... she says that it can be done by anyone ( US citizens / Permanent Residents or Foreigners) but i said that it can only be done by a US citizens or/and Permanent Resident. Who is correct?

I think the OP is referring to affidavits attesting to the bona fides of their relationship, not the affidavit of support. Yes, any person with meaningful knowledge of the relationship can sign an affidavit to that effect. Remember, this is about your relationship, not just your wedding or reception etc.

thanks. i am happy and sad about the answer. happy because now we can move on with the process....sad because i lost the debate and bet...sob sob.
