HI!

Today I had my first interview at the embassy.

For some reasons the embassy makes you attend 2 interviews instead of 1..

Today was the first one

So the first one is like a pre interview.. the officer check that your paperwork is ok...or if you arew missing documents and also they ask you some questions.

The officer that made me the interview was very nice, she wasnt intimidating at all!

She asked me how did we meet?.. how long have we known eachother... where does he live... if he has kids...and if the kids are depending on him and i said yes... she told me "then you will be 4"....she only asked for the taxes reports and w2... askf for DS156K... and made some more questions... she asked me if Gerry was single or what and i said he is divoreced.. then she asked how long has he been divorced and when did that happen.. and ask for the divorce certificate... unfotunatelly.. for some stupid reasons i forgot the complete divorce certificate and i only has the cover of the complete packet with me... but it was funny cause in the I 129F they have it only had the cover of the divorce packet too.. so she told me that i will have to present that complete divorce thing to the consul next March 27th...

She didnt ask for ongoing relationship evidence... nothing at all!.. the only thing she look at it was the affidavit of support. taxes reports and w2... im still super surprised she didnt ask for ANY proof of ongoing relationship!!!

Is it that good or bad that she didnt ask for it???

I asked if besides of the divorce certificate.. if I need to present any kind of evidence of our relationship to the consul at the interview.. she told me I dont need anything!!!

they give you a yellow page that i will present my next interview...

Well in general the first part of this interview went really good.. everybody was really nice..

Gerry will be with me for the interview with the consul...

Ill keep you updated about the second interview...

THANK YOU LORD!!! for everything!

I wouldn't worry about them not asking for any evidence of ongoing relationship. Maybe they'll ask for that at the second interview? It'll be even more obvious you're a good and legitimate couple if your fiance is there with you at the next one though anyway :)

Sounds like a pretty good experience. Congratulations! You're almost done :) I'm glad it's going so well for you. Thanks for reporting in.

Hi Debbie:

I'm happy everything went smooth on the preinterview,we'll continue to pray it goes all weel for the second one.

my suggestion to you is that you bring all the evidence of your ongoing relationship to the second interview as well JUST IN CASE.. you don't know if you are going to be interviewed by the same OC so play safe here, it won't hurt to carry everything you have with you.

Like I said before I'm very happy for you guys and keep the faith GOD is going to be with you for the second interview.

I hope we hear the good news soon!!!!

Dios los bendiga y estaremos pendientes y orando por su pronta reunificacion!!!!!!!!!!!!!
