Hi, all - I have a bit of a conundrum - I think there is a date wrong on my G-325A form!!!

I say "think" because I'm not 100 percent sure that happened -- I didn't photocopy the exact G325 pages in my submission package since I had extra printouts and I had them stored on my computer. [i know, I know - but I found this site AFTER I filed! Lesson learned.]

Here's the story: I had everything together, even paid a lawyer to look everything over, and everything was perfect. But he told me I had to send 4 copies of that form, not just one. So just I re-printed the "perfect" pages and put them with the package. The other day I noticed the date of our marriage on my form is WRONG!!

AAAAH! Talk about losing it! I could cry! Actually, I think I did.

On PDF forms, there is this annoying function - at least on my version & computer - that if you hover the cursor over a date field, it can auto-fill in that day's date (I actually caught this on the I-864, it filled his DOB as that day's date).

Apparently that happened, because the date of our marriage on my copy of the form is the day I printed the form. There is no way I would have ever written that date, the month and day are both wrong. I guess I didn't look the form over ANOTHER time before sending it off, since it had been looked over *so* *many* *times*. [Again - lesson painfully learned].

So now I don't know if I should call about re-submitting that form, since there is a very good chance that that date is wrong on my form (not on my husband's luckily)... or wait to see if the date is actually wrong when they send me the dreaded RFE...

Or is there some possibility of having to resubmit the entire package?!?! Oh joy. I'm already 2 months in.

My inclination is to call and try to talk to someone as I don't want to ignore the problem. But I am very pessimistic about reaching someone who can give me a good answer until there is someone actually working on my case...

:help:

Anyone ever had such a ridiculous problem as to not even know if something is wrong or not? Or had something wrong that came out later - was it an RFE or re-submission? I mean, they have my marriage certificate so it is clear what the actual date of marriage was, so I don't know what other evidence I would submit beyond a corrected G-325A form.

I just feel ill over this. Sorry for the venting of frustration, and thanks in advance for any thoughts on the matter...

I think it is better to talk with USCIS customer service, and tell them your problem they would rather give you correct information.that is what to do now.Only petitioner is allowed to answer the question asked.so try to make call by your Petitioner.
