A6 is if you apply for EAD before marriage and AOS. C9 is based on your marriage and AOS application.

YMMV

Filing A6 is a waste of money. An EAD filed as A6 will expire with your I-94 and probably will already be expired by the time you get it.

Correct, A6 is the same as the temp EAD that some POE still do upon entry, though it costs $340 to file for, and results in a 90 day ead the expires 90 days from entry on the K-1, and can take up to 90 days to get.

K-1s should file using C9 at the same time as they file their AOS, the cost in this case is a part of the $1010 paid for the AOS, so EAD costs nothing.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.
