Hi gogo, what was the reason for your request for expedited processing? I'm just curious

I thought expedite requests needed to be put in from the onset??? I thought I was gonna have to apply also, but discovered that it will not be necessary...as painful as it is to wait.

that's true.. probably going back to China would be better.. might even find a better job there too.. haha, Mr. and Mrs. gogo.. that's a first one for me :blush: .. it does feel good to get married.. but the wait for that is terrible.. I'm going to see what's up with that expedite request (last Thursday), so I'll give them the 5 days that they wanted.. then make another request.. keep making requests until the director sees it.. He is "retiring" (so they say), but probably actually being fired.. but his last day would be April 18.. so I have until then to keep pestering him.. :devil: Her visa is NOT something I can just throw away (like if you buy a pair of socks and you don't like it).. It will affect us a lot, so that's why I am going to continue to fight like what I am doing now..

Here is a little excerpt from my letter placed at the very end of the 3-page letter that I am sending to all..

TO USCIS:

GIVE ME MY WIFE NOW!! I HAVE WAITED 1 YEAR JUST TO GET A DECISION ON MY CASE... HOW SLOW CAN YOU GO? I WANT AN APPROVAL AS WELL AS A VISA NOW.. IF NOT, I WILL BE SENDING THIS LETTER TO ALL SENATORS, CONGRESSMEN, ATTORNEY GENERALS, OMBUDSMAN (CONTACTED THEM TOO), VICE PRESIDENT CHENEY, PRESIDENT BUSH, DEPT OF JUSTICE, AND EVERYONE ELSE TO LET THEM KNOW ABOUT MY CASE. IF YOU ARE NOT AFRAID, THEN SO BE IT.. BUT I BET THE PEOPLE ABOVE YOU WON'T BE.. I WILL BE FAXING EVERYDAY AND PEOPLE WILL GET ANNOYED BY YOU.. I'M ALREADY ANNOYED BY YOUR STUPID EXCUSES ("SECURITY CHECKS?" THAT IS WHAT ONE OF YOUR CSC PEOPLE TOLD ME.. I HAVE ATTACHED A LETTER FROM THE FBI SSTATING THERE WAS NO NAME CHECK DONE ON MY CASE.. SO WHAT'S UP WITH THAT? AND YOUR NOTIFICATION LETTERS ARE SLOW TOO (LAST UPDATE WAS 2/27, SENT A LETTER TO MY HOUSE.. AS OF TODAY, 3/15, I STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED IT... YOUR OFFICE IS LOCATED IN LAGUNA NIGUEL.. SHOOT, I CAN EVEN WALK TO YOUR OFFICE FROM MY HOUSE AND PICK IT UP AND IT WILL BE FASTER TOO.. I WILL NOT GIVE UP UNTIL MY WIFE IS HERE!! YOU ALLOW ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS TO COME TO THE USA, YET YOU WON'T ALLOW AN INNOCENT PERSON TO COME..

there's more (all in capital letters), but you get the point.. :D I don't sound mad, do I? hehe..

so what happened to your case, edp333? I thought everything was wrapped up...

WOW gogo keep me posted I would like to know the outsome of your letter!?!??! I am also waiting as they said "Security checks" thye had my case a long time as well and I had everyone involved, but I am so Frustrated with the system :(

I have a good job, but if this keeps going we might have to re-think things. I can't be without my love anymore!!!

Hi Whippy,

actually I said "USCIS Error" -- 11 months just to get a decision.. am I not right? :whistle: sorry, haha.. didn't mean you.. I meant to USCIS.. if everyone takes 2 years to get their decision, fine by me.. but if some get it at 6 months, and I have to wait DOUBLE.. isn't something wrong with the system?

Nita, try faxing to this number... (202)-456-2461 **White House Number.. address it to President Bush* , and write an authorization letter too.. I always include that up-front.. something about the Privacy Act and saying they can look into your records with your permission...

also, you can try faxing MULTIPLE times in one day.. fill them up fast.. send a super-strike of papers to all the offices (haha).. They will get annoyed at you as well as USCIS.. and that is why Mr. Director over there is calling it quits.. I don't think it is because he is far away from his family.. I just sent a batch Monday, and I'll wait until Thursday (5 days for my request).. to see what is up.. if not, I'll just tell the person over the phone that I will continue to send faxes until I get a decision.. President Bush did send a letter to me (mail) saying that he forwarded my letter to Dept of Justice.. then they forwarded to FBI.. and that's how I got my letter from them..

Whippy... also, I think the expedite request can be done anytime.. since a lot of the time it is their fault anyway.. that is what I am saying here.. my letter is nasty and I will be too.. I am not afraid to get into their faces.. they should give me my decision even by now..

It's cool.. you are not nosy.. just getting to know my situation.. I don't know why that is happening to me.. I see that a few others are also getting security checks.. maybe they have the same issue too.. Personally, I think it is they are just taking a few of us out with them.. just randomly holding applications because they are too busy..

Thanks Gogo I will try that, I did send an Expedite Request as per advise from USCIS officer because my Husband's country is in Political violence, and also because they are outside processing time and that is USCIS error which is also an expedite Criteria....

But I was told by my congressman that too many inquiries delays my case, so I am not sure what to do. But I do know that the secruity checks was already done once and it passed, and now they have to do it again and that it's not with the FBI because I asked the USCIS.

I think I will try to contact them anyways to see. Thanks for your advise GOGO!
