Why is there a need to scare those who want to try to help others?

Yes, you are helping. So, if in your case it's true, then science as we know it would be non-existent. We would've not known the earth is round. You don't go out and say, he's not helping because he said the earth is flat. You can infer from whoever contradicted that the fact the earth is flat got the idea to prove the other theorist wrong. The earth was flat before it was round. I hope you follow what it is to help, what is not. Not helping is standing and watch.

I am curious as to why when people give out the wrong information, they are not only reprimanded, but negatively mobbed here on this forum.

I attempted to help someone in another thread, and apparently was mis-information. However, he did figure out his solution after chatting with me a couple of times. I did directed him to the correct place to find it. Yet, there's no understanding between those who tried to help, and those who don't. Instead, I'm being chatised for giving incorrect information. This will lead to anyone providing help or assistance to fall away from helping.

In the case above, I failed to seek the information for him at the place where he could find that information because he needed to dig through some materials. That is because I didn't dig it for him. Geezes.

A mentor isn't your teacher who has the answers. They work as guidance. We as helpers are similar to mentors.:angry::angry:

I'm gald you really didn't retire. You can only please all people some of the times.Just laugh, don't worry about it.If that person was such a genius, that wouldn't have had to ask for advice in the first place.

So, rather than just not saying anything at all if we don't have the correct answer, we should all just start posting what we think, thoroughly confuse the poor people with genuine questions and then not apologise when they're made to try and find the correct answer on their own (which even then may not be helpful if they're looking for personal opinions)?

Yes, that is what you should do. Don't just stand there. Don't assume people are morons and cannot make logical connections to see what's the right path to follow.

Dude, if people had just come into your threads when you were looking for help and just posted whatever they THOUGHT was right, I don't think you would have called it 'science'.

I'm confused. Doesn't everyone post whatever they think is right?

Yeah, and then loads of times someone comes back to a thread and says ....oops!

It's called learning.

Hmm...I'll take in what's true. No one is dumb to believe all the ####### that goes on here.

####### are you on about?

The only thing worse than someone who can't admit they made a mistake, is someone trying to justify it.

What? How many times was on this thread was the word wrong. And how many times have I asked you guys or you can infer from posts that " don't be attacking people" if you're standing and watch. If the message isn't as clear as that, then there are egoist here who cannot think once of why people help.

Yes. If you're not assuming people are morons, then why are you doubting that statement of what's posted. Each VISA case is unique. Not generalization. So if my information is incorrect, people will not read it or generally ignore it. You too take in what's relevent or what's true to you when you things. Is that a belief of yours, too? Or, is it not?

Egoist? Do you mean egotist?

Lemme make this real simple for you, CM.

People jumped your azz because you were insisting you were right and just generally being argumentative.

It's not a crime to admit you made a mistake.
