Hi all......Have you noticed that VSC have not approved I-130 and I-129F (K3) for a while now? It looks from other posts and timelines that they are focusing their resources on K1 visas instead. Maybe they are waiting for CSC to catch up with them since CSC has been approving many I-130's and K3 lately!!!

Your thoughts??

Well you would think that CSC would try and let VSC catch up to them! I think there have been a few approvals but not much from VSC.

Well lets just hang in tight.....

Your timeline is close to mine. I also got touched on 3/5 and 3/6...............but I am not sure if that is a good thing or not!

I like this idea of VSC (when they're ready) giving our approvals fast, one after another, and I think that too ..... have you noticed that a lot of us going through VSC were all visible on the system on the same day ..... when I saw that, I envisioned mass approvals, when the time comes.

I think so too, I beleive we are all going to get hit like we did with the receipts, so many went out in January February all one shot...hopefully the same happens with the NOA2's this month!!!!!!!! or beginnning of next not so bad, i guess.

Yes, the NOA1's did all go out like a shot ..... maybe they're just looking at all of our piles of relationship proof, photos, letters etc ..... and plucking up the courage to just work round the clock and approve them all at once (I'm quite happy to send them a jar of coffee to support this effort  ) ..... I think that when they really start, there will be a flood of NOA2's ... instead of the dribble we're getting at the moment.

Another train of thought is ..... they're letting CSC do a bunch and then VSC will do a bunch, that way the NVC isn't too clogged, which would delay us all once again when we get to the next stage.

That would mean looking into the old crystal ball ..... my instincts are definately saying in a matter of weeks (maybe 8 - 10) ..... but not 6 months .... at least there is a dribble of approvals, which is better than nothing ..... plus there have been 2 November approvals (randomly) ...... I'll be very surprised if we turn out to be like the poor July/August filers and have to bring in the Senatorial 'heavies'.

Just hang in there guys ..... we're all frustrated with the slowness of this process ..... but it's going to happen .... soon.

That is what I am also thinking, they are working the K1 since NVC only keeps it for couple of days and don't do much work with the k1s.

Good thought, the service centres could be alternating between CR1/IR1's and K1's to keep the flow to the NVC bearable for them ..... do we know what's happening on the K1 front at CSC ? ..... are they slowing down on them or speeding up? ..... if they're speeding up, then the time could be coming for VSC to concentrate on our NOA2's .... this could be some form of logic for us at this unsure time.

The K1's do (generally) seem to get banged out quite quickly .... certainly an odd situation .... wish I hadn't got married now :jest: .... we'd be together sooner

From what i am noticing they are both approving many K-1, but it looks like VSC are lately approving late 2007 and ealry 2008 petitions, while CSC are mostly approving Sep-Dec of 2007 peitions for k-1. In short, VSC is ahead in their approvals of K1.

Hmmmm ..... my mind wonders to them maybe giving up the K1's for a while and concentrating on the other piles of relationship proof applications .... i.e. CR1/IR1's ..... if VSC are already dealing with early 2008 K1's, then hopefully they'll run out of them soon and have no choice but to pick up our files and deal with them.

.... I really feel the tide is going to turn .... not yet .... but soon
