Hi guys,

I just called NVC's automated system and got the following message.

The NVC has reviewed your packet of forms and found information missing or incomplete. The NVC mailed the letter on _____ indicating what information is missing or incomplete...

So I thought maybe the I-864EZ I sent was missing something. Or worse, maybe the bar code I made was wrong (I used James shortcuts). So I called back and spoke to an actual person.

This person told me that they received my I-864 and that it was complete and fine. She also said that they have received my IV payment but that the payment has nnot been processed yet.

I then asked what the message above meant and she said... "I don't know."

Have you guys heard a similar message? It is not our list of automated NVC messages. I thought I'd ask. Thanks guys.

I would not worry about it. I have that message for 4 weeks and appeared at time when I sent my IV fee bill stating in their system as "missing". Also, they send me a checklist saying the same. And all the time when I am calling NVC operator, they are telling me everything is fine, just system is not updated :bonk: I`ve reach DS-230 form documents sent with same message. If your 864 is fine, no worries. Same here.

Ah ok.

I was excting this...

DS-230 Generation:

"NVC is expecting return of the biographic forms by the petitioner... "

Or at least this...

IV Fee Bill Processed:

"NVC has received IV fee bill on ______ and will send further instructions within next few weeks. "

But I'll take what I get. :-) Thanks

It is a normal message, their automated system is a bit weird but the people that answer the phone can give you much better information than the customer service at USCIS ever could. My message says that they are missing some documents but that is because of my DS 230. They told me they can see it in the system and everything for now is fine. The RFE sent is saying they need my DS 230, no worries , give it some time.
