Shari,

Will be glad to keep in touch with you during this time.

Shari, the same thing happened with our petition it shows cashed at TSC and I have not gotten any paperwork from anyone. I got the information and a case number from the back of our check and it has not been found in the system when I try to check it. I am praying it will show in a week if I am lucky. Good luck.

Mary

:goofy: Mary,

We will have to keep in touch since our dates are close to the same and see if we stay in Texas or get transferred out. Good luck! :goofy:

Good luck to you both, Mary and Shari. We will start our process from Mid July.

SRC, EAC, LIN etc are old names for the service centers. For instance, SRC (Southern Regional Center), which was the old name for TSC (Texas Service Center).

I think, you are right. Another example is: MSC (Missouri Service Center). Even though it is NBC (National Benefits Center) now, they are still using MSC.

SRC is the old Southern Regional Center name - it is the prefix that was used for our I-129f back in 2003. I have TDB02 underneath the number though - not the V prefix. Interesting - I am curious what it means now. Perhaps Texas has 'caught' up by transferring its backlog and will start processing I-751 applications again? I hope it is our fastest application processing yet - which just means it needs to be done faster than 9 1/2 months!

I mailed the package to Texas February 28. It was over a weekend, so it wasn't signed for until March 3rd. The cheque was cashed March 10.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Who knows... mine was signed for March 5th and the check was cashed on March 11th... my check doesnt have the TDB code but rather VLC02... makes me very curious...

We need to watch how our two cases progress and see if there is a difference... see if the code means something there! lol
