Updates on calling the call center

Hello Guys,

I just made a call with the call center at USEM.

I purchased a pin for $18.00 and used 1 of my calls.

I spoke to a gentlemen named "paul" and he told me that they will not be ready to be giving out interview appointments for K-1 on March 14th because their new system is not ready yet. When I heard this I said What The Donkey!!!!

Grace, Loraine and even the website says "starting March 14th....."

This doenst make sense becuase http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3023.html says that "Starting March 14, 2008, those applying for K1, K2, K3 and K4 visas who have been notified by the Embassy to prepare for their interview can call a Visa Information Service operator to schedule an interview appointment at the U.S. Embassy. Applicants or their representatives must have the applicant’s Immigrant Case Number as given in the Embassy notification letter available when they call to schedule an appointment. This service will be available from within the Philippines as well as from the United States."

So I will call again tomorrow March 14th (Manila Time) and I can get more lucky. They also said that the pin that was purchased can be used 2-3 times.

I guess my call didnt really help me answer the questions that I wanted to know. I also asked when are the interviews being scheduled at this time. They said that they are giving out May interviews as of present, so we're looking at May instead of April.

I'll keep everyone updated tomorrow after I call again. Ack!
