Subject: Spun out

It's still spin, from his campaign, nothing new or interesting.

Shall I post Bubba's email? Or Terry's?

Either one, I need to go take a dump..........

Just what part of that email is wrong? It's a collection of facts regardless of where it came from. Jeez talk about spin, the arguments over where this came from is the biggest spin of all.

Hmmm Obama's spinning the spin. What the HC campaign is doing is pretty much standard practice in a still-to-be-decided nomination race. Obama's campaign would be doing the same in her place - otherwise why make any speech to put a positive outcome on a defeat or uncertain victory?

It's easier to discredit the source than to argue the facts.

Yes. Some seem to be much more guilty than others, in the off-topic section of VJ, of using this 'tactic'.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

We all got this e-mail. That's why Steve subtitled it "from Obama's campaign."

Why would anyone try to "discredit" something that's obviously designed to galvanize the base? I think we all know what kind of rhetoric comes from campaigns. It's OK to post whatever you want if you want to discuss it.

I'm not a supporter of anything, I guess that rules me out from both emails and cigars. Are they Cuban?

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).
