Per the Manila Embassy website closer to the bottom [CLICK HERE],

"How to schedule your visa appointment:

...If you have an interview date but no time is indicated on your appointment letter, you should plan to appear at the Embassy at 7:30 a.m. on the date of your appointment. The database or listing is updated in the middle of each month. If you do not see an appointment date, check back after one month. Usually, this site carries appointment dates three (3) months out.

Starting March 14, 2008, those applying for K1, K2, K3 and K4 visas who have been notified by the Embassy to prepare for their interview can call a Visa Information Service operator to schedule an interview appointment at the U.S. Embassy. Applicants or their representatives must have the applicant’s Immigrant Case Number as given in the Embassy notification letter available when they call to schedule an appointment. This service will be available from within the Philippines as well as from the United States.

Applicants for all other immigrant visa categories unable to make previously scheduled appointments can call the same number, where an operator can reschedule appointments if no medical examination is pending.

Applicants, Agents or Petitioners can call Visa Information Services using the 909 number available within the Philippines at 1-909-101-7878. The cost of the 909 service is U.S. $0.98 per minute charged to your telephone bill. Callers can speak with an English- or Tagalog-speaking operator. The service is available to the public from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday – Friday, Manila local time.

Applicants, Agents or Petitioners calling from within the United States will also be able to reach our Services at the toll-free number at 1-888-877-9888. The cost of the 888 Service from the United States is a U.S. $18.00 PIN payable using a Visa or MasterCard once you have called into the service. This service is not available through the Visa Information Services website..."

Cheers...

p.s. - I've read the interview can be schedule by ???? instead of calling the Visa Information Services for $18, which is now become another manditory fee. Geez!!! Please post that information on the alternate way to schedule the visa interview and medical exam, if you know, because I did not see it again at first glance.

I don't think that NVC or DOS can schedule the interview. When I called DOS they said to wait for the embassy to schedule the interview and NVC says that all further inquires need to be directed at the embassy.

It is the USEM that schedules the medical and interview but the same information is also available with the DOS. I must say, the process is getting complicated, from adding the document verification and now calling the embassy for visa appointment, and for a fee. Probabaly they noticed a huge increase in the application of fiancee/spousal visa thus the additional fees.

Goodluck to all. No retreat no surrender !

just called USE call center.. they said they made a mistake.. its not March 14. appointments will be made March 19! :ranting:

they also said check their website for updates. i did. and its the same

Starting March 14, 2008, those applying for K1, K2, K3 and K4 visas who have been notified by the Embassy to prepare for their interview can call a Visa Information Service operator to schedule an interview appointment at the U.S. Embassy.

they made a mistake? the last call i made was yesterday and they keep on insisting to call on the 14th! now that its 14 they say they made a mistake and call again on the 19th! this is unbelievable, terrible, and frustrating.
