Hi,

I filed a I-130 on March 6 for my wife in India. Is it true that the processing times for the new filers are expedited compared to the ones who filed in early and mid 2007? I know the USCIS went through a hiring campaign recently to add additional workforce to handle the large volumes of applications.

Also, it would be kind of you to offer your thoughts on pursuing a K3 route given all the rumors about it being cancelled.

I am anxiously waiting for my NOA1  . Also, I would highly appreciate if someone can tell me how to track my case online once I receive NOA1. (A link would be helpful) :help:

Thanks,

CJ

If you mean expedited in terms of getting your NOA1, possibly. But if you mean from end-to-end, I would say that's a no.

When you get your NOA1 you can go to the USCIS site, enter your # and find out your status.

I don't know what to tell you regarding K3 versus CR1 especially because Vermont seems a tad behind in producing NOA2s. The time to get your interview would likely determine which makes the most sense for you and that is based on her country of origin.
