I-693A

Hope all of you are doing gud. I'm on k1 visa, got married and now doing paperwork for applying for AOS. At present, I'm ready with all AOS documents other than I-693A.

I had my medical test 3 months back in my country but not vaccinations. The doctor certified me normal for all conditions. There were 11 different vaccines I saw in I-693A. Should I take all the 11 shots? And if so, what should be the interval b/w each shot? Or can I send my AOS forms w/o I-693A and send it later after I get all the shots?

I live in NY city. Can I get I-693A from doctor in other city/state?

Hello, I just did my I-693A. you only need 3 vacc, Td, MMR and varecella. I live in phoenix, i did my I-693A from Dr Arnold in Austin, TX. Just call o Dr office, it cost onl 20$ and it takes not more than 1 week for whole process. If u have more question, let me know. Thanks.

20$ is for transfering the information from DS-3025 to I693A right? How abt the fee for those 3 shots?

Yes its only for tranferred. Then you must have the 3 vacc. shots.

It will probably be cheapest to get the shots at a local health department. The health dept in Louisiana would not give varicella to adults, and we had a hard time finding a private physician that would. In the end we used a civil surgeon, because he's the only one we could find who would give my hubby a the vaccine.

here are the age required vaccinations for USCIS

age 18-64: Td, MMR (if born after 1956), Varicella, if 50 years or older also influenza

if you need other age groupe just ask.

and yes the $20 dr arnold charges are just for the transfere of the ds3025 to the required I693a. you can get the missing vaccines at any doctor you just need to get a vaccination sheet so you can get that info transfered by a registered civil surgeon
