How long are these both good for? Please say a year so we don't have to wait anymore!

Bridget they are good for one year. Medo just had to renew his because of the long AP they expired. He just sent his new ones DHL yesterday. With the passport. Hopefully we hear something soon.

I think it's a year too, although Akram's interview was in April (the year mark not yet) but I have no idea about these things. But yours is months before the year mark, so I don't think it's expired yet.

I just can't remember the date he had them done. Oh well, my mukh is not functioning as well as it used to. Must be either the age or the excitement :D

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

When Ehab got the call from the embassy to send in his passport, the lady told him, he may have to renew his medical and police report too because they will expire the beginning of June after one year. So far, they haven't asked him to do them. I am hoping they will just hurry and issue his visa so he doesn't have to worry about it.

They told him this morning the medical is good for one year, so he did not have to redo that one, and the police report is good for 3 months.

Have you called DOS to see if the status has changed yet?
