Bridget, BELIEVE and leave no room for doubt. Send those positive words out into the atmosphere! Perhaps he will sign the DS 156k AND hand in the passport.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Congratulations Bridget! I think he will still get his visa....the DS-156K is the visa application form isn't it, the one you sign in front of the consular official? So maybe they want him to swear the oath, sign the DS-156K AND give them his passport so they can put the visa in it.

Good luck, hope to see a "Visa in Hand" post from you soon.

I'm trying not to doubt but you all know how that goes you know?

Lemme ask you seasoned cairo peeps this much..............if he were being interviewed tomorrow wouldn't they have stated that and told him to bring in evidence? She said "come in anytime before 10am" instead of stating a specific time, which normally would be the case for an interview BUT the email says 8am so I told him to be there at 8am. She said only bring your passport.

I'm so confuzzled I cant think. lol. And has anyone EVER heard of a passport being stamped right there and then with the visa? :help::help::help:

Congratulations either way Bridget. I hope as others have said that he just needs to sign the form and they will take his passport at the same time. This would be perfect timing on the visa so that he could be here during your sugery! We'll pray all goes well for you two tomorrow.
