The Vermont office recieved my I-129F on January 30. I recieved my NAO1 10 days later and now still waiting on my NAO2 approval.

Anyone out there filed at the same time I did and got his/her NAO2 approved yet?

Even though they all say that Vermont office is faster than other offices, my cousing got his K1 visa approved last year in 2.5 month from the time he sent it to Vermont office till the time his fiance had it in hand.

It seems that some people are lucker than other even though I thought they process the application in the order they get them.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Umm if you look at the topic titles in this forum you'll see there are pretty lengthy threads dedicated to January filers at both offices. Yes, some people in your timeline have been approved....others are still waiting. When your file gets processed seems to have much more to do with which adjuticator picked up the box your file is in than it does the exact date you sent it.

A lot was going on with the system last year. 2 1/2 months is still quick at any office but yes, VSC is the quicker of the two. Some people wait much, much longer though.

good luck

Not much rhyme or reason to the process at VSC, Kim and Russ hit it perfectly...depends on who picks up your file...

If you look at igor's list or the thread started by dbears about January filers you will see that 29 January filers have been approved while 31 are still waiting.

Some in less than 30 days...

Yes, some people are just luckier to get their NOA2 faster. I think Kim&Russ has explained it well.

We filed almost the same time you did and still waiting for our NOA2 but I refuse to consider myself unlucky coz I already have my first prize: I have 2 wonderful kids & I am engaged to a wonderful man and within the year, i know I will get my grand prize: I will be married to my best friend & my soulmate. Those thoughts just keep me going.

For the time being, I hope you will fill in your timeline and let's wait together.... who knows our NOA2 will just pop up tomorrow or next week.

God speed.
