Happy Wednesday everyone - - Moody congratulations!!! I am so happy for you..and Bridget hooray...I hope to hear more good news for the rest of you waiting or stuck in AP...well I decided to call DOS today...just had a feeling...and surprisingly I got them after only 5 minutes and I was like huh?! Anywho....I was calling to ? about the interview and I got oh yes, he has been scheduled for the interview..so in pure Melinda styles I blurted out GET OUT!! (sometimes my filter doesnt work) and she said yes, the packet 4 was just sent out...SO we have a date....4-7 I am so so super excited - -- -

thanks to all everyone for their support..I can't believe I am at this stage of the game!!!! YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

thank you!! things are going ok. im just feeling really uncomfy these days. always wanting to sleep.

June 11 05-Married George, civil ceremony in New York

May 30 08-Baby Joshua was born

Jan 15-Back to NY we go...

May 10-made decision not to go back overseas.

July 10-filed for divorce

Jan 11-Divorce final

July 11-1st trip to take Josh to see George

Mar 12-2nd trip to take Josh to see George

Yay!!!! That's when my 10 yr old turns 11!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We'll be celebrating with you at laser tag!!! :lol:

Jessica came over today and helped me get the house ready. OMG 2 more nights and Ibrahim will really be in Illinois. ZOMG. I am just giddy with excitement. hehehehehe

Arrived U.S.A.-December 2005

Removed Conditions-September 2008

Divorced in December 2013

Happy Wednesday everyone.......Looks like a lot of great news today!! Congrats Bridgett on the visa, Moody with your pregnancy, MelindaandTarek on your upcoming interview, All the MENA babies are adorable!!! Last but not least......Ms. Jackie.....Sounds like an exciting day coming soon for you... :thumbs: I pray that the great news keeps coming and those still waiting for their visa's, hope to hear "visa in hand" soon for us all!!

Our timeline:

September 29, 2005.......met online.

October and November 2006......was in Egypt with my sweetie.

November 1, 2006......We were married.

December 2006........I-130 filed

January 2007...........I-129 filed

April 2007................I-130 and I-129 approved

June 14, 2007.........Visa interview completed

December 2, 2007.....Home interview

February 12, 2008........Second interview

February 26, 2008....I was called by the embassy and was given a short interview over the phone and was told that my case will be moved forward and someone would contact my husband soon to send in his passport.

March 2, 2008......My husband was contacted by the embassy to send in his passport.

March 3, 2008......Passport sent by DHL.

March 4, 2008......Embassy received the passport.

March 18, 2008......VISA IN HAND!!! YEAH!!

August 15, 2008....filed I-485 adjustment of Status and I-765...Employment Authorization

October 14, 2008.....I-765...Employment Authorization approved, card received 1 month later.

January 15, 2009......Adjustment of Status interview for green card...approved!!! Received green card two weeks later.
