Hey VJers,

I just wanna say thank you to all of you who posted several topics in here. Those helped me a lot in my preparations. I had our interview last March 11 for the K1/K2 visa and we got approved! Here is the story:

March 10 at 11:00 am, me and my daughter left our house in Quezon City and checked in at Riviera Mansion, a small hotel but is nice and my daughter enjoyed the bath tub hehehehe. We spent the rest of the day malling then visiting the Malate Church for help and blessing. At 2:00am of March 11, we prepared for our big day and around 3am, we arrived at the embassy. There were already few people waiting, some were taking nap even lol. Around 4:30, we got in the line to enter the embassy grounds, we were number 5 in line! At 6:15 we were instructed to enter gate 2 where our things were passed into the xray machine. At 6:30, we were called to a counter to submit our DS forms, I had to get off the line and get back again coz I forgot to tick some items about having relatives in the US. I was given a que number 7005, then around 7:30, my number flashed into the screen and so me and my daughter went to counter 19 for the pre-screening. The pre-screener got all the pictures I compiled, the affidavit of support, CENOMAR and NBI. Since I had my papers organized, we did not take long in the pre-screener. We were called after 15 mins for the fingerprint scanning, had to be in line twice as the first time, the computer hanged... I had my fingerprint scanned at one try hehehehhee. Around 8:30, my number flashed to proceed to Window 32, the interview with the consul. The consul was very nice...(and handsome at that hehehehe). He opened the original petition and said: "Outstanding!" He did not ask me a lot, just where my fiance is located then he started describing to be the Washington, DC and right there I knew we were approved. He typed something in the computer and then looked at me and told me and my daughter, "you both are approved" and I asked him for visa pick up which he approved and told me in 24-48 hours I will get my visa. I was not instructed to go to Delbros, I paid my doc verification last Feb. 8. I wanted to jump for joy, now its all behind us now and the preparation for the trip to the US is what I will start working on. We were so happy that I took my daughter at the Hobbit's house for dinner hehehehhehe. She loved the place! God is really good, I have asked for our visa on my bday (March 13) and God is so faithful to give it to me. To all Vjers, thank you so much! Keep on praying and He will answer you.
