March 10 - george called USEM and spoke with Grace to follow up our case and ask about the status of our Request letter for early appointment (which was suggested by the call center a week ago - the call center that costs $18)

fact: we faxed our request March6, since then george was calling them everyday for follow up. their answer is either 1) we haven't received your fax; 2) call the Call Center; or 3) call grace/lorraine

At last March 10 the call center agent confirmed that they received our fax and advised george to call Grace/Lorraine for the decision. Right after the call, he called grace. Grace said that THERE's NO FAX received! How come right? when the call center already confirmed it... so, it all came up to one thing.. call again tomorrow, look for grace and we will have an answer.

March 11 - george called USEM and spoke with Lorraine (Grace is not around - how come she advised to call her the next day when in fact, she will be on leave?!).. Lorraine said: "can u hold on for a moment, I will check on your request letter..." so George did. He was on hold for 40minutes!! then they hanged up! how rude and unprofessional was that?! he tried to call again but can't get through anymore.

Do they even know how much does it cost for long distance call?! We follow exactly what they say. They just keeps us go round and round and find a way to earn by these calls.. Calling the call center is $18, and thats too much already. then they give you high hopes abt your case, but when you finally speak to them they say other BS!

March 12 - Had the chance to speak with Grace again this morning (7:55am to be exact) and complained to her of what happened yesterday. She does'nt know or was'nt aware of george being on hold and it was Lorraine that put him on hold and most likely forgot about him. Anyway, george asked her what of our fax... same thing., our case is still pending for review with an officer Anyway, Grace told him to just call back on the 14th and set up an appointment.

Well, that's that. The 14th it is... :( sigh.

I just finished talking with a guy from USEM his name was Mike.....I was on hold for like 15 mins but infairness he was very accomodating and I was satisfied because my questions was answered clearly. But it still sucks because I dont have a qualifying date yet and so I need to call again....spend money again. They are not aware I guess how much you will have them on hold....who cares! they are not the one paying for it.

OK now guess what?

just called USE call center.. they said they made a mistake.. its not March 14. appointments will be made March 19! :ranting:

they also said check their website for updates. i did. and its the same

Starting March 14, 2008, those applying for K1, K2, K3 and K4 visas who have been notified by the Embassy to prepare for their interview can call a Visa Information Service operator to schedule an interview appointment at the U.S. Embassy.

they made a mistake? the last call i made was yesterday and they keep on insisting to call on the 14th! now that its 14 they say they made a mistake and call again on the 19th! this is unbelievable, terrible, and frustrating.
