Ooh, that's good news, right? But what's it meant to do, like...is it gonna be just an improvement or will it hopefully magically fix everything?

I hope your sister's not freaking out too much :( Maybe she's being a teenager and all like "Yaaay I get lots of drugs!" That's what my sister did with her ear surgeries :D (she had to have her eardrum removed in one ear because she kept shoving q-tips down it and totally made herself deaf, good job)

Hoping for the best Amber  Sure it'll all go well.

Summer 2001 - met my Scottish boy

December 18th, 2007 - proposal in Madrid's Botanical Gardens with a duck standing behind him going 'food?'

January 18th, 2008 - I-129F sent to VSC

January 31st, 2008 - received NOA1, issued Jan. 24 :)

February 24th, 2008 - NOA2; omgwtfbbqlolz

February 29th, 2008 - NVC letter sent

well hopefully she will be able to eat normally afterwards. right now food doesn't go into her stomach because her esophagus doesn't open to allow it in so it either sits in there for a long azz time or she pukes up whole food. not too fun! she will be on a completely liquid diet for the first 2-3 weeks and then a soft food diet for another 4-6 weeks after that. right now she is just pissed off that she won't be able to eat for another few weeks. she is already going crazy and she's been on a clear liquid diet since sunday.

this is the procedure she is having done http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heller_myotomy
