I don't really care much that the law was broken. Men have been buying sex since the beginning of time. It only matters that he was married. That's bad. Bill kept his job, even after lying to the world! So, why should this guy lose his job? Does infidelity make him a bad leader? Sure. But ask Hillary what she thinks should happen to this idiot. Infidelity may be immoral, but to my knowledge, it is not a criminal offense.

However, engaging in prostitution certainly *is* a criminal offense. (So is perjury, by the way.)

I think part of the outrage against Spitzer is the fact that as state attorney general, he prosecuted several prostitution rings.

Exactly. The hypocrisy is, in my opinion, worse than the crime itself. But for the crime, he needs to go.

The big difference between Clinton and this clown is that even though he cheated on his wife while office, he didn't pay for sex, or at least he didn't get caught doing it. This idiot from New York not only paid for sex more than once, I guess they think he spent between $5k-$80k on prostitutes, but he was also know for cracking down prostitution.

If that is no the epitome of hypocrasy, I don't know what is.
