Tips to talk to someone at the NVC?

Hi~

I have been calling the automated hotline and I choose option 2 for fiance visa. Then it says to wait for an operator and of course they are all busy so I get transferred to the automated line and it just loops back saying all operators are busy and to try again later. Is there a secret to access the automated part?

01/29/08 Check Cashed

01/30/08 Received NOA1 in mail

02/24/08 Touched

03/12/08 NVC forwarded package to London Embassy

03/14/08 Received letter from NVC confirming they are forwarding package

03/17/08 Package possibly signed for in London!!!! *Used track by ref on DHL

04/14/08 Medical Scheduled

04/28/08 Checklist and forms mailed

06/06/08 Interview!

06/06/08 Visa Approved!!!!

09/28/08 Orlando POE

10/28/08 Wedding in St Pete!

What time are you calling?

They say between 8am and 10am and 6pm and 6:45pm eastern time are the best times to call.

I also called late at night as they open until midnight eastern time. I called twice, both times after 10pm and only had to wait 5 minutes to speak with someone.

Late at night is the best time, say around 11:30 P.M. EST, or very early.

02/25/2008---received DS-3032 and AOS bill

03/10/2008---received IV Bill ($400!!)

03/24/2008---mailed DS2032

10/10/2008---approved at NVC

11/06/2008---interview (more evidence)

02/17/2009---2nd interview- PASSED!!!!!

04/01/2009---He finally landed on US soil. (no joke)

neither call early or late. don't call between 10-6pm 7-11pm

you won't get through.

call between 7-10am is the best. i alway get through, call other time alway busy
