How & when will I find out that NVC sent/Embassy recive my case?

When USCIS sends you the NOA2 hard copy, they have instruction there. We got our hard copy last Friday. NVC will send you notice that they have forwarded the documents to USEM.

The NVC case number is assigned by NVC once it gets into their system. YOu could call them at (603) 334-0700 to see if they received it, if they have, they will give you the NVC case number. The number is sometimes busy, or the automated system might drop you back to the beginning when they have a high call volume. Or you could wait until the hardcopy receipt is sent to you, then you'll know that they would have sent it to the embassy.

I have called several times and ours is still not in NVC's system. figure maybe 2 weeks from when you were approved until it gets into their system, but I keep trying each day to see if it is in yet.

Not yet. I called today and it is still not in their system. NVC says that you have to give them 2-4 weeks. Their phone system is not the best in the world. Sometimes it is busy, sometimes it just keeps pushing you back to the main menu, and then eventually you may get someone who tells you that you have not waited long enough.I could mail something from here to NH in a lot less than 2 weeks, but I guess a part of the waiting is for someone to pick up the packets and process them.

What is most frustrating to me I think, is that CSC is so busy that they process much slower than VSC, then why do they have to send it across the country again to be shipped back out? Why not have a NVC annex in California? Many people sending to the CSC are going to be from Mexico/South/Central America and also Asia. Why send these petitions away from the places they will eventually be sent back to?
