I voted that I have stopped reading the forums...which, obviously, isn't entirely true. I don't read anything other than the February CSC thread and I check the general February thread, but it always depresses me when I do. I also read approvals when the subject says it's a CSC approval. I don't begrudge the VSC filers the speed they're getting, I am so glad that they are getting approved quickly...but I know that I won't be and I'm getting to the point where it's hard not to cry when I see those approvals coming so fast, knowing that even though I filed before them, their SOs will probably have visa in hand and be moving into the country before I get my NOA2.

See my timeline for my K-1 and AOS/EAD/AP details.

I don't stopped to read, just i start to feel to bad to reply to most of the post.

Its not only about me. We sent our petition only 3 weeks ago.

But i see some of CSC and VSC who sent their petitions months ago and still waiting... i feel bad for them when i see topics title like NOA2 in 21 days...

And also i see that some peeps already approved so fast are thinking to have a visa extension... it makes me feel so bad as, as i already explain in some other topics, if i got approved too late i will have to wait too january 2009 to enter to the US. Cause of the things works in France.

When you quit your job there you have to notice your employer 3 months before. So i wait the NOA2 to do that. Not a problem? Yes it is, cause my daughter have to be with her father for Christmas (its the legal agreement we have, i have to respect it). And i know that is not fast to have AP. So... You can imagine.

But, i see lots of approvals for CSC yesterday and today. Maybe we can all have hpes.

Kisses

Yoko

I haven't stopped reading either.

I read the January filers thread, even the ones for VSC (though I don't answer a lot there).

I try not to think of time too much. I try to think that it doesn't matter too much if we're approved in a month or in 4 months. At the end I'll go back there and we'll get married. And we can't really do anything anyway. Of course, my thoughts will be a lot different in 6 months! but right now, that' still bearable.

I'm going through a fast consulate and at least my fiance and I live on the same continent so we were able to visit each other pretty regularly. I just tried to remind myself of that every time I felt a bit of envy at VSC couples who filed around the same time I did already having interview dates. And yes, I realise it's easy for me to say that now that I have my NOA2 (one of the earliest October CSC approvals).

I voted that I checked once a day, because for the most part that is what I did, but occasionally, I checked more often. I also voted yes for whether things can be changed. Obviously, if they would hire more people, it would move faster. Whether we can affect that change is another matter.
