not necessarily, it can be related to filing etc.

I am wondering filing what if they haven´t finished with the case. I would rather to stay positive and say working.:innocent:

Hehe as I said. someones fingers on it is fine with me... means something to me.. its not collecting dust (or maybe it is) but at least it is not lost (at least not yet)

Stay strong!!!!

Laura,

Wanted to say this earlier. I love your encouragement and your support everyone as this can be a very fustrating processing. I'm telling you, if you don't know how to be patient, but better know it now. I thank you very much for that. Thanks again for support all of us as we go through the process.

It is unfair the way the approve the petitions.

Keep your chip up sis NOA2, on it's way soon.

We were touched... then nothing.

It's hard to see half of our fellow filers get the gift of a quick approval. But that means half haven't.

I keep reminding myself that everything happens they way it does for a reason. I wonder why, but sometimes you never find out. You just gotta trust.

Since we are now past the two-month mark since filing, ours won't be called a quick approval (we are talking VSC here). We're settling in for the long haul now, and don't expect to hear anything until at least April. Hopefully we'll be surprised!

Well I just got an RFE in the mail today. Go figure.

But it's good news as far as I am concerned! They just need me to send in a few more documents to prove I changed my name from my maiden name when I was married last time. It will be mailed off asap, so an approval can't be far off! :)

The main reason why I haven´t gotten an approval is because we got a refusal, asking for new pictures passport style. I think my b/f sent old style pictures. :crying::crying::crying::bonk::bonk::bonk:

You didn't get refused...you got an RFE, big difference!!!!

Just send them back what they request..shouldn't put you behind too much!!!!!

An approval won't be far off after you send them what is requested!!!!

Hang in there sweetheart

It is unfair the way the approve the petitions.

I know, just look at my timeline. They seem to have gotten their act together now.

May 7,2007-USCIS received I-129f
July 24,2007-NOA1 was received
April 21,2008-K-1 visa denied.
June 3,2008-waiver filed at US Consalate in Panama
The interview went well, they told him it will take another 6 months for them to adjudicate the waiver
March 3,2009-US Consulate claims they have no record of our December visit, nor Manuel's interview
March 27,2009-Manuel returned to the consulate for another interrogation(because they forgot about December's interview),and they were really rude !
April 3,2009-US Counsalate asks for more court documents that no longer exist !
June 1,2009-Manuel and I go back to the US consalate AGAIN to give them a letter from the court in Colon along with documents I already gave them last year.I was surprised to see they had two thick files for his case !

June 15,2010-They called Manuel in to take his fingerprints again, still no decision on his case!
June 22,2010-WAIVER APPROVED at 5:00pm
July 19,2010-VISA IN MANUELITO'S HAND at 3:15pm!
July 25,2010-Manuelito arrives at 9:35pm at Logan Intn'l Airport,Boston,MA
August 5,2010-FINALLY MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!
August 23,2010-Filed for AOS at the International Institute of RI $1400!
December 23,2010-Work authorization received.

Hello there. I notice you got a request for evidence. Did that slow down the process? I just received one yesterday.

Yes, it slowed the process, I haven´t gotten approval yet. I called today and there is a new rule that they can´t provide information to the beneficiary, just only to the petitioner. Very funny from them.

I was really mad, I called my b-f and he called. What did they say? Same old news, that they are processing December cases.
