My point is that asking someone how big their breasts are may be considered a little too personal for some. ;)

It was necessary for the sake of scientific inquiry.

Gaby&Talbert...I also find your words offensive that you wrote to Chrissy. Everyone here and their mother knows breastmilk is best. Hadn't you already read in the posts how many people wanted to breastfeed but for whatever reasons could not? So are you trying to make them feel worse? Your posts are coming across quite condescending.

I just can't believe sometimes how militant some people are about breastfeeding. I am very happy for every woman who is able to breastfeed, I believe it's a wonderful thing. WHen you really want to, you focus on it so much during your pregnancy so it's not like you think "yay" when you can't do it after so much effort. I have a friend who chose not to even try, sure I think she should have at least tried but it is not my place at all to ever act weird towards her or say something rude because she chose not to. Her children are fine. She is a very good mother.

I am not militant about it but women should know the benefits for their children. My wife had difficult times and I never once said she had to breastfeed. During her pregnancy she alot about it and said she wanted to breast feed the first 6 months at least. Once the baby was born I helped her in any way that I could, I helped her make sure the baby would latch on correctly. Her mother stayed with us for a month to help her. She got discouraged a few times but everyone told her not to worry and keep trying. Our baby is almost 6 months old and my wife always says it is the most wonderful experience in her life to breast feed our baby. She feels extremely close to him and says it is worth all the effort.

i am very glad that you are so supportive of your wife... it would be nice to see more husbands be that way... and i am very glad things went so well for you and your wife...

whether you intend it or not, your posts are coming across as militant... and it is offensive to assume that women are not informed... check out the baby corner and mommy corner... you will see that women are very well informed... and are very willing to share advice and information with those seeking it... women seek out information when they are pregnant (at least those that care about their infants or are not drugged out to the point they dont even realize they are pregnant)... it is available at clinics, doc offices, the internet, parents, friends, etc...

you are preaching to a group of women who are very well aware of the benefits... but unfortunately, not all were blessed with the success of you and your wife... be grateful that you were so blessed

I agree people here are typically the type that research everything and try to do what they think is best. This is a small percentage of Americans here. I think ever mom here has tried to do the best they can for their children. I would never look down on anyone that bottle feeds their baby, I would just hope that the choice was made for the right reasons and not just because it is easier for them. My mom didn't breastfeed me and I have been sick maybe 2 times my whole life. I might have been a little taller or a little smarter if she had but there is no way of knowing for sure. My mom let me drink too many Pepsis when I was a child does that make her a terrible mom? I don't think so, she did the best she could. My mom told me she was too ashamed to breastfeed because when she was a child women would pull their bests out in public and she didn't like that. She was very shy when she was young.

My wife won't feed our baby in public so I always make sure we are home and she can feel comfortable when feeding our baby. If we are traveling I help her find a nice quite private place our in the back seat of the minvan. I bought her one when the baby was born with dark tinted windows so she can feed the baby if we are not at home. I traded my deisel 4X4 truck so she could have a minivan. I love my wife with all my heart and will do anything for her and our baby.

why do you even care, you have no children, isnt it a bit rude and unnessary to come into a thread and start asking what size a a womans breasts are, even when its irrelivant to the thread, and then try to play it off as you were asking a legit question when mags says something to you?

You're not gay, why did you post in the thread about homosexuals?

You're not a 14-year-old girl with STD, why did you post in the thread about 14-year-old girls with STD?

You live in Florida, why did you post in the thread about snow in the midwest?

It's none of your f###ing business why I care. If you think I was rude, you're entitled to your opinion. Feel free to block me.

that kind of love and support is incredible... she is lucky

it is sad to me that any woman has to hide to feed her baby... it would rather see a woman breastfeeding in public than a newscast that inevitably has something about someone being shot or murdered... violence is accepted so readily, but the human body is not

 I knew there could be difficulties with some getting the hang of it, but I had no clue it could potentially take so long to get things working...I didn't experience any problems or discomfort and couldn't really understand how it could prove that hard. I admire your perseverence though.

I'm glad you didn't.. I did had nightmare on breastfeeding my daughter. I had good breastmilk (My physician said so and she told me, I could donate a breastmilk in hospital but I didn't do it..its grossing me out) My daughter don't drink much so I had have to drained my breast and poured it in sink. Before she turned 4months I asked my physician and pediatrician I wanna quit breastfeeding because I'm in hell. I was always getting a fever for having too much milk(Painful chest) so I used formula (don't give left over to your baby to avoid sickness even it says.. you can keep it for few hours) My daughter its pretty healthy child . She did had once viral sinusitis in PI (cottons making her sneezing) . There is no harm to use FORMULA as long you use it right.. Baby bottles and other utensils should always sterile it (don't be lazy get your azz to clean it up after use and change bottles and nipples every 3months) observe his/her bowel movement with the milk you're using.. sometimes you have to add more water.

Thanks GOD..I'm done with these now..She eat like an adult and still drink milk (non formula)

Thank you very much! I was called millitant and offensive but I am just supporting my wife's feelings about breast feeding. In some ways I am ready for her to stop but I will not say anything to her, she has to decide when it is best. I would love to take my wife out for dinner and a movie but until she is ready for the baby to stop breast feeding I can wait. It is all worth the sacrifice because I see what a difference it has made with her and our baby.

My wife is the best thing in my whole life and I tell her that every day!

I don't. I just wanted to know if there was a correlation between breast sizes and dairy yields.

How does it work - the bigger your tits are, the more milk you produce?
