Get some proof of living together - e.g. Joint Bank statements, joint lease/rental agreements, joint utility bills, health insurance, life insurance with your spouse as beneficiary and so on - get as much as you can. If you don't have any yet - start getting your spouse's names on some things jointly, some for example the bank will ask for a social security number but for some like utilities - they will add the spouse's name with a phone call or letter. Good Luck.
