This is awasome, yeheeeey... We got an email today (Mar 11, 2008) from USCIS stating that our K-1 visa has been approved (Mar 10, 2008).

Cha and I just wanted our happiness... Our K-1 Visa was approved in 24 days from the date of our filing (Feb 15, 2008).

THANK YOU to Vermont Service Center for processing our application so expeditiously. Keep it up, I'm sure a lot of couples in our situation will be thrilled to hear the prompt processing of k-1 visas..

A most special thanks to VJ, special kudos to Sheriff Uling, Captain Ewok and Lisa D for providing a very good source of information to help us in this journey. For guidance and support, we also wish to thank and to send our best wishes to jeff and mayeth, aravis227, marash, grandoner, greeneyedgirlfl, chuck n rose, kid brooklyn and elai. For those who are still waiting, keep the faith, your time will soon come.

Wow... Congratulations!

You should be receiving your packet 3 within the next 3 - 4 weeks. This contains all the information about how to book the medical etc. She will need to download forms off the internet to fill in, sign and send off. Make sure that she reads the instructions carefully. Start gathering all the paperwork together now (Affidavit of support etc) You will need to send her all of this so that she is ready for her interview! Also, make sure your fiancee orders her police certificate if she hasn't already too as this can take some time to come through.

Just for clarification... Your I-129F petition has been approved NOT your K-1 visa. The K-1 visa can still be refused by the consulate if your visa application and supporting paperwork are not sufficient....
