hi everyone ...

I am not sure where is the best place to post that

I'm really new in here, but something is not new, it is almost two years that I am with Mark , and most of this time, we were away, yes we talk on msn, skype or any other way, just it is so hard not to be together.

I am so very happy that I have him in my life, but everyday ...I am a little bit more sad.

How you all do to manage this time ?

I am almost done with school, so I'm supposed to be busy during the day, but I can't think about anything else than being near him.

I really hope I can get some help and advice

Thanks and good luck

Yes it is hard being away from the one we love. I married my wife 1year ago and today is her interview and it has been a very long and hard road. But I know the only way I am able to do it is to rely on my God. I know its hard to believe this but being away for so long is a good thing b/c if you can stay together through this you will be able to make it through anything. The time has strengthened my marriage.

Just stay in prayer to God and He will give you strength and stay connected to your husband as much as possible and give each other all your love. The day will come when you will be together and the time will make it so much sweeter.

Hey Jason, how are you holding up? I know you must be nervous as heck right now and very anxious for this day to be over with. I have you and Marla in my thoughts and prayers. Goodluck.:thumbs:

It has been hell for me being away from my Englishman! I think what has helped me to cope with the distance and sadness is to read all these informative and mostly positive posts! And, I know this will sound silly, exercise! I'm using this time to get in shape before my fiance finally gets here. I used to be a sedentary person who would rather lay on the couch than workout. I think hitting the gym keeps me focused in the moment and I'm sure it's boosting my happiness level. Good luck to you!

I worked a lot of overtime.

I spent a lot of time with my folks.

I prepared for my wedding.

I made sure we spent a lot of time talking/emailing, but not dwelling on how much we missed each other, or we would have gone crazy. :)
