Request for additional evidence sent!!??

Last week, my husband received a letter from USCIS requesting for BC in original language (Japanese). Today, when I track my case on line there was a touch saying On March 10, 2007 we sent you a letter requesting additional information.....

Has anyone knows what is the next possible document USCIS needs from us?

Any information will be highly appreciated.

You said he received a letter last week, and then they updated the website or sent you an email. Some people get email updates while others do not. In my case, for example, I got my NOA2 in the mail, but never got an email and then they didn't update the website until about 2 weeks later. From what I see, it looks like they sent him an RFE for your birth certificate (koseki tohon/shohon) I'm sure the website update "touch" is for your birth certificate. As soon as you send it in, they will continue processing your case

Hello, we had the same thing happen. I called to inquire about second notice, several times. Was told"wait for the letter". I still have not recd. letter, but now proscessing resumed. john&jean

My husband was able to talked with a very nice USCIS representative yesterday who ended up returning my husband call after pulling out our case from the file for review and explain to my husband what had happen.

You are right, She said that they're almost two weeks delayed on updating the system. So, the request notice that they should supposed to post prior to the actual letter of request that we received in the mail box was just posted on March 10th. I feel relief when I heard that, thought it was another RFE.

We already sent what they required, and my husband was able to talked with a rep. confirming that they received it.

A week after sending the necessary document there were touched on my case almost everyday. And one thing more the update changed to March 14, 2007 but still requesting for additional evidence or information....kind a weird to me.
