Hi

I am confused. My fiance and I have been approved for the I-29F. The NVC has been sent to Italy. In the third packet that is sent to my fiance am I required to fill out the avadavit of support. Or because I have been approved for my visa I am not required to provide this.. I am only asking because it takes 3-4 weeks for the mail to arrive from the US and I am hoping by that time my fiance will have his packet three in order..

thanks in advance.. I am not sure what to do next..

The USC needs to complete the affidavid of support I-134. It must be notorized and be accompanied by information that shows that the foreign fiancee will not become a burdern (tax transcripts, pay stubs, letter from the employer) At the interview the foreign fiancee will be asked for this document. If she does not have it - no visa will be given. So get it done now, so you are not held up by the postal service. Good luck and smooth sailing.

And So It Begins......

My Timeline:

Have a look at the flowchart...

What you have is your NOA2. Approval of the 129 petition.

Your fiance now needs to gather all additional documents and attend an interview for visa approval.

Good luck.

my accoutant has not filed my 2007 taxes yet my company had many tax write offs.. it will take him at least one month for him to file 2007. Will 2006 be ok? and i have three years of taxes

You can use 2006 if the interview is before April 15.

I also recommend sending the documents through fedex/dhl.. that way you can actually track it. AND it gets there faster :)
