Form 1722

I just called the IRS to request the form 1722, but the person I talked to did not know what that form was.

Is this a new or an old form?

They are going to send me tax information for the last 3 years, but I'm a little apprehensive whether it is what I need.

Has anyone else had that problem?

I called and requested tax return transcripts, which is an acceptable piece of evidence mentioned in the directions to the N-400. Just follow the directions and it will be fine. Good luck!

What are you looking for? That number does not come up on IRS website either.

I'm sorry, I should have mentioned that this is needed for the interview.

It says on the interview checklist to provide an original IRS Form 1722 listing tax information for the past three years (or copies of the income tax forms).

Oh, I don't know. The letter about your interview mentioned that Form #? Maybe some more who have been through the interview on here will chime in. Good luck.

I believe they are asking for IRS transcripts. Your original posts mentioned getting them from IRS, this should be fine.

That form is obsolete so tax transcripts are what you should get.

Yesterday I received 2 out of the 3 transcripts I requested. I hope the third one did not get lost in the mail!
